The Schnauzer is of German origin, said to be recognizable in pictures of the 15th century. The Miniature Schnauzer is derived from the Standard Schnauzer and is said to have come from mixing of Affenpinschers and Poodle.
The Miniature Schnauzer is a robust, active dog of terrier type,
resembling his larger cousin, the Standard Schnauzer, in general
appearance, and of an alert, active disposition.
"Flash" is an AKC registered black and silver gene mini Schnauzer. His registered name is Slabaugh's Flashy Trooper. He has an awesome pedigree and personality. He is only 12.5 inches tall and weighs 14 pounds. He is a proven producer.

As you can see, he was also shown with Nicholas Slabaugh
first year , 4-HDog Club Member and they received two
Reserve Champions in both Obedience and Showmanship.

"Fancy", (Slabaugh's Fancy Girl). She is Salt and pepper she is 12 inches tall. Fancy was raised here as a pup. She loves to lay on the couch and just be held. She'll stay in your arms all day long. She's 2 years old.

"Heidi," Slabaugh's Little Heidi is pictured here with her friend,
Katelyn. She is super sweet and I have raised her from a pup.
She is a wonderful Mom and loves kids. As you can see in the picture
she is giving kisses to Katelyn.

Slabaugh's Lucky Poco (or "Poco" as she is known around the house.
Six years old, she has even raised a Boston Terrier puppy! Her
disposition with children, showed me what a wonderful family dogs
Schnauzers are.
